Services
Due to the unpredictable Covid-19 pandemic, I am electing to withhold in person therapy sessions and can only offer telehealth sessions at this moment. I will, however, be exploring a hybrid of offering both in person and telehealth sessions in the near future. Any updates on in person session availabilities will be shared here as well as live across all active platforms.
Therapeutic Process
Prior to the initial session, you will receive and submit a brief intake questionnaire and informed consent detailing all need to know information about my practice.
The initial 1-2 sessions will include time getting to acquaint each other, a formal intake of your mental health, medical history, any concerns you may have, as well as anything else you feel is important for me to know. An individualized treatment plan will follow to formulate measurable goals for therapy. Sessions will be around 53 minutes long and the frequency of the visit will depend on your individual needs, though weekly is typical.
Insurance
I am "in-network" with Optum, United Healthcare, Oxford, Oscar Health, Aetna, Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield and Cigna. I'm also in the process of expanding and working with more insurances in the near future! Co-payment amounts are identified by your insurance carrier can not be negotiated; the same applies should you have a deductible to meet with your carrier prior to accessing your standard co-payment rate.
For those hoping to pursue services out of network, my fee for individual sessions is $150 per 53 minute session. Check with your insurance provider to see if you have "out of network" benefits" as you may benefit with insurance reimbursement. I'm able to supply you with a monthly super-bill that you can present with your insurance for reimbursement if you choose to pursue out of network coverage. I do offer limited sliding scale options, dependent on annual income and financial difficulties, to be discussed on an individual basis. Payments can be made via credit/debit; HSA/FSA cards are eligible as well.
Cancelation Policy
I require a 24-hour notice for appointment cancellations. Notices should be made primarily via our secure HIPPA compliant platform Spruce Health, phone call or email. Although I am very flexible and fully aware that unpredictable things may happen, 24 hours notice for cancelations is a standard policy in the medical field and ample communication is a goal we can continue to strive for. Appointments that are rescheduled to an appointment later in the same week, are not subject to the cancellation fee of $100.
